The A11y logo I designed for Docusign’s accessibility program: an orange-red arch around a doorway, outlined in white, on Docusign blue.

Accessibility at Docusign

I was Docusign’s first Accessibility Designer, bridging design and accessibility engineering so accessibility was built in from the start.

Overview

Across more than eight years at Docusign I worked on web, mobile, design systems, and accessibility engineering.

  1. 2018 Joined Docusign

I designed across web, mobile, and design systems.

  2. 2019 Co-led the Design for Inclusion Guild

I started working on inclusive design, and the guild is where A11ykit began.

  3. 2023 Joined the Accessibility Team full time

I worked with Design Systems partners to turn accessibility questions into practical guidance, training, resources, and tools.

The part I’m proudest of is shared ownership. Designers, product managers, content designers, localization teams, engineers, and researchers all helped carry this work forward.

Before accessibility

Earlier in my time at Docusign, I designed the foundations of the Agreement Template Builder and led mobile design for iOS, Android, and mobile web.
